Special Events
Monthly
& Quarterly
Once
each month, a special event is planned to engage the youth in other
opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun. Representative activities
include a food drive, movie night, and a
Christmas shoe box program.
In addition to monthly events, a larger
event is planned for each quarter. These activities include our annual
retreat and participation in selected regional youth programs.
Opportunities to Serve
Do you have experience working
with youth? Are you
college-age to 99? Does your face light up when you see a young man or
woman serve Christ? Perhaps the Lord is urging you to help out in the
youth group. Call us!
Willing
to help for special events?
Perhaps you can’t be involved on a regular basis, but you would like to
assist or lead a special event, such as Road Rallies, Community service,
Nursing Home outreach, sports activity, camping trips are all avenues
that we can draw young people in. If your giftedness is in the area of
organizing events … this may be the ministry for you.

Weekly Fellowship Meeting
September
through June
Grades 7 - 12
Most Sundays
12:30-2:30 p.m.
The youth meet each week for a time of spiritual
growth, fellowship, and worship. We typically start with a student-led worship
song or prayer. This is followed by a time of teaching, using both a large and
small group format. The smaller groups enable more interactive discussion and
sharing of personal insights and needs. The curriculum for the teaching uses a
combination of structured lessons, invited speakers, and topical video programs.
Youth Band
B.A.S.I.C.
has its own youth worship team named “Lost & Found.” While still
in its infancy, the group hopes to honor the Almighty by encouraging you
to use the gifts they have been given. If music is part of who you are,
you may want to check us out.

leadership team
Our Youth Core Team is a committed and
caring group of adult volunteers that share a passion for youth. They
meet monthly to plan and coordinate all youth ministry activities. The
current team has a coordinator for each of the key programs: youth
studies, weekly fellowship meetings, special events, worship arts, and
communication.
“Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them
to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you
always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28: 19-20
