Marty is from Atlanta Georgia where He received a B.A. Music Education from Mercer University Atlanta.  As a student he started a movement of Campus Crusade for Christ where he learned how to build people and draw them to a common purpose. He then taught Music for three years in South Georgia in a Public School where he led three competitive music groups. He learned that as long as you never stop but keep moving forward you will get further in the long run.  Celebrate growth! 

For the next 6 years he traveled full time in several evangelistic music groups all over the US and internationally. His last 5 years with Campus Crusade for Christ was in the Recruiting department for the Music Ministry in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he was the director.  

While on staff with CCC he received a Bible Certificate from The International School of Theology/School of Leadership

He was ordained in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church shortly before coming to Bedford Community Church.

Marty and Judy with their three kids will have been here at BCC 2 years in January. 

He is driven to reach people for Christ through worship and outreach.

His favorite verse is Heb. 13:5 “I will never leave you, never forsake you”.
